Description

The CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is the entry level qualification for anyone who wants to work in childcare.
This qualification covers the fundamentals of early childhood development, education and care. Upon completion of the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care you will have the skills, knowledge and experience to plan activities that promote children’s learning through play. These experiences will help you contribute in the development of children into confident and competent learners during their time spent at their early learning centres. With a qualification of AET’s Early Childhood course, you will be ready to kick-start a rewarding and fulfilling career as an Early Childhood Educator, a Family Day Care Educator or Nanny.

There are no entry requirements for this course, however students are required to undertake the Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment and Pre-Training Review. This will assist to determine candidate’s suitability and relevance for the course and identification of any support required.
Working with Children Check required before undertaking Work Placement.
